Scottish Arts Council
The Scottish Arts Council is one of the main channels for Government funding for the arts in Scotland, receiving its funding from the Scottish Executive. They also distribute National Lottery funds received from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland
Government body which records the archaeology and buildings of Scotland and makes this and other historical information available to the public through the NMRS (National Monuments Record of Scotland).
